Why Should I Enable or Disable 'Ask to Buy'?
If you use Apple’s Ask to Buy feature, you may notice that it doesn’t always work as expected when Mobicip is enabled. Mobicip uses Apple’s Screen Time framework, which can sometimes interfere with Ask to Buy requests.
Apple is aware of this issue and may address it in a future update. Until then, please follow the workaround below to ensure Ask to Buy continues to function properly.
- Open Mobicip on your child's phone and select "Enable Ask to Buy" from the menu.

- Login using your Mobicip account.

- Find the App Store from the list of apps.

Note: If you had previously selected another app by mistake, you will need to "Disable Ask to Buy" from the menu, and redo the steps above to find the App Store app once again.
- When Ask to Buy is enabled, the App Store is the only app allowed and all other apps on the device are locked down. Once your child requests permission from you and installs the app, you will need to open Mobicip and "Disable Ask to Buy" from the menu. This will lock the App Store on your child's device and unlock all other apps.

We understand that this is an unwarranted hassle. We have filed a high priority bug report to Apple and are working with them closely to get it resolved. Hopefully this bug will be swatted away very soon!
